If you believe in good faith that your trademark has been used
by one of our advertisers in violation of your trademark rights,
please fill in and submit our Trademark Claim Form or provide Ask.com's trademark agent the following information by email, fax
or mail:
- Your name (exact name of company if the trademark owner is a
company), address, telephone number, email address and other useful
contact information;
- A description of the trademark that you claim has been infringed
including:
- the exact mark (please specify whether it is a design mark or
word mark)
- the countries/geographical areas of registration/claimed protection
- the registration number (or indicate if the registration is pending
or if you claim trademark rights under a common law doctrine of
use).
- A description of where the material that you claim is infringing
is located (for Sponsored Web Results on Ask.com, please indicate
the exact URL displayed on the bottom line of the listing or other
identifying information);
- A description of the reasons why you claim the content of the
advertisement infringes on your trademark rights;
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the
disputed use is not authorized by the trademark owner, its agent,
or the law;
- A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the information
in your notice is accurate and that you are the trademark owner
or authorized to act on the trademark owner's behalf;
- An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized
to act on behalf of the trademark owner.
If we determine that your protected trademark is used in violation
of your rights, we will request that the advertiser remove the allegedly
infringing content or we will remove the advertisement.
Ask.com will not respond to claims with respect to listings
or websites that appear in Ask.com's non-paid search results,
i.e., in the Web Results, Narrow Your Search, Expand Your Search,
or Related Names sections of Ask.com. For any such claims, please
contact the owner of the relevant web-sites.
We also encourage you to make your claims directly with the owners
of the allegedly infringing web-sites or advertisements, or the
Internet service provider that hosts such web-sites. This is a much
more effective way to resolve trademark claims, particularly because
advertisers may have similar advertisements on other sites.
